Plugboard needs products to be able to handle the inventory. The products can either be added by the API or it can be imported into plugboard from any of our connectors.
- To get products by using the API see section Get products
- To find a specific product by SKU see the endpoint
GET /product/by-skuin the API-reference.
- To create a new product see section Create a product
- Make sure to note the localId of the product that you want to update.
Update using localId
Make a PUT-call to update the product’s stock value in plugboard. localId is the unique identifier within plugboard.
Update using remoteId
Plugboard allows you to add your own id to a product which is called remoteId and must be a unique id among all products. The remoteId is designed to contain the external systems unique identifier like a database key but is can also contain the SKU if the SKU is unique.
The remoteId can be used instead of the localId when calling the API but note that it is only possible to use a remoteId that was set by the same API-connector. Read more about localId and remoteId in the API-documentation.
Make a PUT-call to update the product’s stock value in plugboard. Note that remoteId must have been added by when creating a product OR updating a product through the API.
