Note for Visma eAccounting in Norway: Since Shopify Payments isn't yet available in Norway the app will only book the sales part of the transaction. As for now the booking of the payout fromyour Payment Service Provider (PSP) must be done manually.
In order for the automated accounting of sales in Shopify against Visma eAccounting to work, it is required that the payment takes place via Shopify Payments and that the payout currency is set to the same currency as in Visma eAccounting.
It is perfectly possible to sell in several currencies to the end customer via Shopify Payments, but it is just the payment payout currency that must be the same as the currency in Visma eAccounting.
Keep in mind that if you sell in several currencies, you will be forced to manually manage the exchange rate differences that may arise.
