Introduction
One of the tools available to you as a portal user is the ability to review discrepancies reported by the system on customer accounts. The error manager flags issues clearly, indicating that something has occurred that needs to be addressed, and provides various options for how to proceed.
This can be divided into three parts:
- Worklist: A list of reported discrepancies with key information about the issue and a more detailed indication of the problem description.
- Action: Do not export: Use this option to remove the row from the worklist if you have resolved the issue outside of the integration. This function ensures that the error is not reported again.
- Action: Managed: Use this option to remove the row from the worklist if you have resolved the issue, allowing the correction to take effect during the next data transfer. If this or another error is detected, it will reappear on the worklist.
Example: Resolving an issue that has occurred
Below is an example where an attempt was made to create a journal entry in Fortnox, but an account, in this case, 3007, is missing from the chart of accounts in Fortnox.
The issue is clearly flagged in the interface, and there is a quick button to open the document to view the details in the system, which is useful for drilling down into specifics when needed.
The action here would be to check in Fortnox whether the account exists and that it is active. Once this is completed, you can click on Managed. The journal entry will then be created in Fortnox during the next data transfer.
