Description

This error occurs when a product has an invalid item number (SKU). The SKU may only contain allowed characters and must comply with the rules required by the receiving system.

Cause

• The SKU contains invalid characters (e.g., spaces, special characters such as !, #, ?).

• The SKU is empty or completely missing.

• The SKU is too long or not in the correct format.

Resolution

• Ensure that the SKU only consists of characters allowed by the receiving system.

• Remove spaces or special characters that are not permitted.

• Enter a valid SKU before submitting the product.
