Description

This error occurs when a product is being linked to a Product Variant Group (PVG) in the receiving system but multiple groups are matched at the same time. The system is then unable to determine which PVG is the correct link.

Cause

• Multiple variant groups (PVGs) in the receiving system match the same product.

• The product contains attributes or identifiers that overlap between different PVGs.

• Incorrect or duplicate variant information exists in the receiving system.

Resolution

• Check which PVGs exist in the receiving system for the product.

• Ensure that only one PVG corresponds to the product and remove or adjust duplicates.

• If the product truly belongs to multiple PVGs, adjust the configuration so that it links only to the correct group.

• Try linking the product again after making corrections.
