WC already exists

Description

The receiving system rejects creation because an order with the same number/identifier already exists. This is a conflict on a unique field (e.g., order number or external reference).

Cause

• The order number is already taken in Visma.

• The same order has been sent previously (manually or via another flow).

• Incorrect mapping of ExternalId/YourReference that collides with an existing document.

• The numbering series in the receiving system does not allow conflicting external numbering.

Resolution

1. Search for the order in the receiving system by order number/external reference and verify whether it exists.

2. If the order should not exist: delete/cancel the duplicate in the receiving system, or change the incoming order number/ExternalId so it is unique.

3. Review numbering settings:

   • Let the receiving system assign numbers automatically, or

   • use a unique prefix/suffix (e.g., “WC-49807”) if external numbering is required and must not collide.

4. Run the flow again after correcting.
