Description
The receiving system (Fortnox) rejects the request because it references an item with a certain SKU that does not exist in the Fortnox item registry.
Cause
The SKU is missing in Fortnox.
Typos/casing/extra whitespace in the SKU.
The item exists but is inactive/archived.
The line should not be of type Product (e.g., it represents a payment fee) but is still sent as a product.
Resolution
Search for the item in Fortnox. If it’s missing, create it or use an existing item number.
If the line represents a fee and not a good/service: change the mapping so the line is not sent as Product, but posted as a fee/cost.
Normalize/map the SKU in the integration.
Activate the item if it is inactive.
Try again after correcting.
