Fortnox error: 2002375

The error occurs when the Integration Platform tries to export a journal entry to Fortnox.
Message: Exported generated pdf as ledgerentry-A-2024-05-30.pdf 
GenericError(20007005, RemoteSystemError): Fortnox error: 2002375 - Inget bokföringsår existerar för angivet bokföringsdatum.
This means that the date sent from the Integration Platform does not fall within any active fiscal year in Fortnox. Therefore, the export is stopped.

Cause

• No fiscal year has been created in Fortnox for the given date.

• The accounting date falls outside the valid fiscal year (e.g., a future date or a past period that is missing).

• The fiscal year exists in Fortnox but is not activated.

Action

• Check the date on the journal entry

  • Open the journal entry in the Integration Platform.

  • Verify the accounting date.

• Check fiscal years in Fortnox

  • Log in to Fortnox.

  • Go to Settings → Fiscal years.

  • Verify that there is a fiscal year covering the date.

• Create a new fiscal year if missing

  • If the year does not exist, create a new fiscal year in Fortnox.

  • Set it as active.

• Test the export again

  • Once the correct fiscal year is in place, re-run the export from the Integration Platform.

  • Verify that the journal entry is created correctly in Fortnox.
